Our quality is not just certified according to DIN EN ISO 9001:2008, but also transparent. During production, all barrels and screws are periodically checked for perfect quality with the latest testing and measuring equipment. The results are documented and archived after evaluation. As our customer, you can view the data at any time on request.
Reiloy blank bimetal barrels, semi-finished products, and finished products are tested for straightness using test bars or laser measurement. For bimetal barrels with larger inside diameters we exclusively use calibrated lasers with a laser-sensitive receiver component. The inside wall is mapped with exact coordinates for every barrel. In addition to straightness, we can also measure the roundness of the bore. Both measurements are accurate to a micrometer.
We test the quality of the bore surface with roughness sensors or high-resolution endoscopes. Using this almost microscopic imaging, we check the bore surface for flaws along its entire length.
We test the dimensional accuracy of large barrel bores to an accuracy of one micrometer. The measuring devices are equipped with electronic sensors that are able to test bimetal barrels with lengths of up to ten meters. The diameter range is between 100 and 500 millimeters.
We offer our Zeiss UPMC 850 coordinate measuring system with high-precision granite guides to measure complex parts for our clients, with an uncertainty U1 of (2.5+L300) µm. We are able to measure sizes of up to 850 x 600 x 1200 millimeters and weights of up to 1200 kgs.
